To prepare for the migration process, we kindly ask you to:
1. Determine the retention periods for historical information that you require for your work/analysis.
2. Configure the cleanup policies in your cloud version of Allure TestOps according to point 1.
3. Inform us of your decisions regarding the retention periods for stored information and the cleanup policy settings.
You can set up the cleanup policies by following our documentation:
4. Contact the sales department ([email protected]) and request a staging key for migration from the cloud to a local server, so you can prepare your infrastructure for product deployment.
5. Deploy the same version of TestOps as in the cloud. Please note that Postgres DB must be at least 15+
6. When setting up S3, its capacity should equal your current S3 volume + DB dump + some additional buffer space.
The migration process will then proceed as follows:
1. The infrastructure department will assess the instance volume and decide on its readiness for migration.
2. The sales department will contact you to address any licensing issues.
3. You will need to create a temporary S3 user on your side and provide us with the user details for transferring all files.
4. Next, we need to agree on a time to stop your instance, create all necessary files for transfer, and send them to you.
Please note that the downtime can be significant. It is also worth noting that after the transfer of database dumps and S3,
the work of the TestOps team is considered to be done, as further work is done by the client team.
5. Finally, you will proceed with the usual installation using any method convenient for you https://docs.qameta.io/allure-testops/install/
6. After you make sure everything is working - you should deactivate the temporary user created for us
