Good news! In the scope of a project, the test cases aren't deleted. They are marked as deleted, they are hidden from the lists but remain in the system to maintain correct relations in the database.
If you delete a project, then such an action will be irreversible and all the test cases of a deleted project will be deleted as well.
But let's go back to the good news.
To get the list of deleted test cases you need to change the address string of the test cases section.
For example
https://demo.testops.cloud/project/338/test-cases?treeId=0
replace test-cases?treeId=0 with test-cases-list to get this
https://demo.testops.clous/project/1/test-cases-list
In the page you will see a text field for AQL, set it to true, and check the checkbox Only Deleted
Then execute the query. You will get the list of deleted test cases.
Click the ID of a test case you need to restore, it'll be opened as test case view. In the test case menu select Restore to restore the test case.
Automated test cases
Generally, there is no need to restore automated test cases – as soon as you uploaded new test result and closed the created launch, deleted automated test cases related to these test results will be restored by the system, this is the work of Smart Test Cases feature.
